This Privacy Policy explains how the Mickle mobile application (“Mickle,” “the App,” “we,” “our,” “us”) collects, uses, shares, and protects information when you use it.
Mickle is operated by Sravan Kumar Sattar, an individual sole proprietor (“the Data Fiduciary” under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023). Mickle is a free, ad-supported mobile application that displays live and historical gold and silver prices for India and global markets, along with related features such as price alerts, AI-generated market insights, and a premium-features waitlist.

We do not share your personal information with these providers, because we do not collect personal information in the first place. The data they receive is limited to anonymous tokens and standard technical telemetry.
We do not sell your data and we do not share your data with advertisers or data brokers beyond what AdMob receives to serve ads (see Section 5).
Some of our service providers (including Google, Anthropic, Supabase, and Railway) may store or process data on servers located outside India, including in the United States and the European Union. By using Mickle, you acknowledge that limited technical data described in this Policy may be transferred to and processed in jurisdictions outside India. We choose providers that maintain industry-standard security and privacy practices.
Mickle is supported by ads served via Google AdMob. AdMob uses your device’s advertising identifier (Android Advertising ID) to show ads, including ads that may be more relevant to you based on your interests inferred by Google.

Mickle includes an “AI Insights” feature that generates short market commentary on gold and silver prices. This commentary is produced by an AI service (Anthropic’s Claude API) using publicly available market data such as recent prices and historical trends. We do not send any user-specific data to the AI service.
The AI-generated content is for informational and educational purposes only. It is not financial advice, investment advice, or a recommendation to buy, sell, or hold any asset. You should consult a qualified financial advisor before making investment decisions.
If you opt into price alerts, Mickle will send push notifications to your device when a price condition you configured is met. You can disable push notifications at any time:

Mickle is not intended for children. Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, “child” means an individual under 18 years of age in India. We do not knowingly collect any data from children. Children should not use Mickle without verifiable parental consent.
If you believe a child has used Mickle in a way that resulted in any data collection, please contact us using the details in Section 14 and we will take appropriate steps, including deleting any associated data.
You can stop all further data collection at any time by uninstalling Mickle from your device.
If you would like us to delete the anonymous tokens associated with your install (for example, before uninstalling, you want a fresh start), email us at the address in Section 14. Because we do not know who you are, we may need additional information from you (such as the exact device token shown in the App’s “About” or “Settings” area) to honour the request.
